Sue's Story

I’m one of the part time grooms who looks after our 7 wonderful ponies. The ponies like to star on our Facebook page so I am their personal photographer capturing all their funny antics when they’re not working, and posting them for everyone to see.

I organise the hire of the indoor school at Tweeddale through Facebook and run fundraising events such as Tack sales and Companion dog shows.

I’m also a group Coach and have been a volunteer for over 20 years . Recently, I have also been beavering away doing a Diploma course in Equine Facilitated Learning which will add to my Coaching skills and which we hope to introduce this year.

Seeing our riders having fun and gaining in confidence because of their interaction with our ponies is what makes GRDA a very special place.
