Tea with the Ponies

We are delighted to announce one of our new non-ridden experiences; Tea with the Ponies, which will run throughout the year. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet our wonderful ponies and our lovely volunteers followed by delicious cake with tea, coffee, or juice.

Experience Highlights

Arrival and welcome with a short Health & Safety brief.
Tea with the Ponies takes place in our indoor school at Tweeddale, Keithhall, Inverurie.
Visitors are then invited to meet, greet and pat the ponies or even groom/brush them if so desired.
Afterwards visitors will enjoy tea/coffee or soft drinks and cakes and a chance to chat with our volunteers.
After tea, visitors will also have the opportunity to visit our new Sensory Trail located close by, which is suitable for walkers and wheelchair users. A wonderful chance to explore our trail, take in some fresh air and enjoy nature.

Booking Information

Booking is essential and must be paid for in advance via BACS, thank-you. Group bookings are most welcome; please note the maximum number per group is 16. Please complete the booking form by clicking on this link: Tea With A Pony Booking Form.

Tea With The Ponies Cost

Children - £7.50 (14 years old and under)
Adults - £15.00
Family Group – 2 adults & 2 children £40.00

Useful Information

Facilities at Tweeddale include wheelchair access and disabled toilet facilities.
We have a large car park suitable for mini-buses.
Tea with the ponies takes place in our indoor school, which is not heated, therefore we suggest visitors wear layers and an outdoor jacket.
We ask visitors to please wear suitable footwear - shoes or boots for walking (no open-toed shoes or sandals).
Please advise when booking if you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements (please note there may be a small surcharge for special dietary requests).
If visitors, 14 years old or under, wish to groom/brush the ponies, please be aware that a hardhat, provided by us, must be worn to satisfy our health & safety policy & insurance. Thank-you.
Session length is 1 hour (15 minutes arrive & departure, 45 minutes with the ponies). Please note there is no time limit on your visit to the Sensory Trail.
Bookings must be paid in advance. Cancellations – if less than 48 hours notice, then the booking fee will not be returned. 48 hours notice or more, we shall be happy to rearrange your booking at no extra charge.
